Nour Polloni of Eden Games who is working on the next installment in the Alone in the Dark series has brought some…well, it could be bad and it could be good news. This involves a weird feature that they are adding to the game.
This new feature will give players the opportunity to skip through the hards parts of the game. This comes at a cost though, such as achievements. The have added this so that everyone can finish the game, which in my opinion, is a great idea. This just might be a great way to get someone such as say, my girlfriend, to actually play a game. If you just aren’t that coordinated in video games, you might want to play through some of the easier stuff, skip the hard stuff, and maybe just feel more like you are watching a movie. And if they feel they need to add this feature, the game just might be tough enough for the hardcore gamer. Great idea.
