Metal Gear Solid 4 Review
Did you pick up MGS4 at midnight last night? I didn’t, but I really wanted to. I haven’t even beaten the third one yet actually. I own it, but I haven’t had the time to play it. Once I get to it, I’ll buy MGS4 though. Anyway, here’s a video review of the game.
MGS4 Gets an Early Release
Metal Gear Solid 4 was scheduled for release on June 12, as any Playstation 3 owner probably already knows, but some people are already playing it. So far it’s not certain who is at fault here, but it’s likely from stores who have received early shipments. Either way, you might want to keep your eyes open at the shops in your town. A spokesperson from Konami has stated:
Unfortunately, these things happen. As much as we like see that no one breaks streets dates, no one can monitor every single moment that a title gets packed up for shipment and when its on its way to the stores… The store could be at fault as well, for letting someone get a copy before the street date.
MGS4 PS3 Bundles on Amazon Today
I don’t know how hard it will really be to find an MGS4 Playstation 3 bundle the day Metal Gear Solid 4 launches, but if you want one really bad and don’t want to take the chance of not finding one on launch day, you should check out Amazon.com today. They will be pre-selling the North American MGS4 bundles this morning at 10am PST. I’m betting they’ll sell out quickly, so you better be ready for some fast mouse-clicking.

Blu-ray Too Wimpy for Metal Gear Solid 4
This really blows my mind. Ryan Payton, the producer over at Kojima Productions has stated that on the Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid 4 only has enough room for the Japanese language track and won’t include the English language track. Obviously, this goes for the American version as well, only the other way around. I can’t believe this game is this huge. Looks like companies are gonna have to think of better compression options or something.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Release Date
The game every Playstation 3 owner has been waiting for, Metal Gear Solid 4, will be coming to North America on June 12th. So if you haven’t beaten the other three yet, you better get started, because times runnin’ out. To be honest, I still need to play MGS3. I own it…I just haven’t played it.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Demo Next Month? NO!
Assistant producer at Kojima Productions, Ryan Payton, has announced that there will NOT be a demo for Metal Gear Solid 4, despite what the internet is telling you. So that sucks. That would have been really cool.
MGS4 360 Rumor…Just a Rumor
That’s right, the rumor about Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to the Xbox 360 has once again, been proven to be false. Michael Shelling of Konami has made a statement saying “For the record, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and there are no plans to develop an Xbox 360 version of the game.” So take that…rumor starting…people…of…stuff.
