Another Full Album Coming to Rock Band

Joining The Cars and Judas Priest, a full album from the Pixies will be hitting Rock Band Soon. Harmonix announced that their album, Doolittle, will be available for download on June 17 for the Xbox 360 and June 19 on the Playstation 3.

There are 14 tracks altogether which can be purchased at $2 each or you can buy the full album for $19. That’s a lot of cash for one album, but hey, if you’re a Rock Band Fanatic, or Pixies fanatic too, it might be worth it to you.

Full Cars Album on Rock Band Now Available

I mentioned last week that the full debut album from the Cars would be coming to Rock Band at some point and it looks like that some point is today. You can pick up the album in its entirety for 1200 Microsoft points or individual songs for 160 Microsoft points. Look for it on the Playstation 3 on Thursday.

If you’ve been waiting for another full album to download for Rock Band after the full Judas Priest album came out not too long ago, Harmonix is sure to please. This time around comes the full album from the Cars. This is their self-titled debut album, originally released in 1978.

There are only nine tracks, but this was a great one. I used to listen to this record all the time as a kid and I’ve actually just picked up the CD a few months ago. No pricing details or a date have yet been announced but here are the tracks that’ll be available.

Full Albums Coming to Rock Band… Finally

Before Rock Band even came out, Harmonix and MTV were saying that full albums would be released for the game, but we waited and waited, and it never happened. Well thats about to change.

They’ve announced that a full album from Judas Priest’s “Screaming for Veneance” will be coming next week on April 22nd for the Xbox 360 or the 24th for the Playstation Store. You can buy the tracks separately at $1.99 each or the entire album for $14.99. Personally, I think I’ll keeping all of my money in my wallet for this one.
