Atari had announced a new competition centered around the launch of Alone in the Dark that could send you to New York or Paris, net you an Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii, and lots of other fun stuff. The “Keep the Fire Burning” competition can be found via CentralDark.com and ends on July 31st, 2008.
Why should you put away the Grand Theft Auto IV disc for a few days to play the GRID demo on the PS3 and Xbox 360? Because if you get the fastest lap in Time Attack mode, you have the chance to win a real car; a Ford Mustang GT-R. The five people with the fastest times will be flown to San Francisco for the GRID launch event and once there, they have the chance to compete to win an eBay Motors-branded Ford Mustang GT-R.
You have to actually go to Codemasters’s official GRID community site and enter your times manually though, where they will be authenticated and ranked on the online leaderboard. You have until May 25th to get those times in though, so you better start racing now. I wish I had more time to devote to this because I want that Mustang.
Mario Kart Wii Contest in the UK
So this sucks if you live in the US (me) but at 30 various GAME locations in the UK, you’ll be able to participate in the Mario Kart Grand Wii Tournament. First of all, you’ll be one of the first people to play the game, and second, you’ll have a chance to win a Mario Kart VW Beetle Convertible. The contest will take place on Saturday, April 5th and the game will be released 6 days later on the 11th. I want a Mario Kart Beetle. I’m not sure how long I could put up with the name calling though. Not because it’s a Mario Kart themed ride, but because it’s a VW Beetle. Put Mario on my Jeep and I’ll rock it all over town.

If you complete all three puzzles, you have a chance at the grand prize, which is a copy of the game and free Ice Cream of the Season for 4 months. I’m not really sure what that means though.
Capcom has announced a new challenge for all of you designers out there. If you create the best design for a level in Bionic Commando: Rearmed, it’ll be included in the actual final version of the game and your name will be placed in the credits. So fire-up your creative skills and get crackin’. You have until March 12th to sketch something out. Here’s the details.
