If you enjoyed the latest Twisted Metal game on your PSP, nows your chance to play it on your Playstation 2. Eat, Sleep, Play, the developers of the Twisted Metal series is now offering you a chance to win Twisted Metal: Head On: Extra Twisted Edition, a PSP port for your PS2.
First of all, you have to be a Playstation Underground member, and if you own a PS2 or PS3, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be anyway. Then, you have to answer the questions on this page. There will be 3 of these challenges all together and 5 people from each challenge will win a copy of the game. If you complete all three puzzles, you have a chance at the grand prize, which is a copy of the game and free Ice Cream of the Season for 4 months. I’m not really sure what that means though.
Not really a whole lot this week. The new metal track pack for Guitar Hero III has some cool songs though and if you’re a fan of Grateful Dead, Rock Band has you covered. Don’t forget also, though, that you can download the demo for Echochrome on the Japanese Playstation Store.

Wanna play Echochrome on your PS3 or PSP? Of course you do, everyone does. So if you don’t already have a Japanese account set-up on your Playstation 3, do it. Then get to downloading.
Sony has announce all kinds of good news today. Three major things really.
1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will come packaged with an 80GB Playstation 3 and a DualShock 3 controller for $499.99. You’ll be able to buy the game separately as well, of course.
On top of this news also comes news of a MGS4 multiplayer beta test in April for those of you who pre-order the game.
2. There will be a special edition God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP Entertainment Pack hitting stores in June. The PSP will be “Deep Red” in color and will feature Kratos silkscreened on the back, the God of War PSP game, Superbad on UMD, and a voucher to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops for free. This will set you back $199.99.
3. The last bit of news is about the long awaited DualShock 3. Finally, the DualShock 3 Wireless controller has a release date of April 2008 in North America for the price of $54.99. I miss my rumble. I want this controller.
If you’ve been enjoying the great PSP content available from the Playstation Store accessible via your PS3 or PC, things are about to get better. Instead of having to transfer your files to your PSP every time you download something, the Playstation Store will soon be accessible directly from your handheld. No word yet on when, but at least you know it’s in the works.
Some so-so stuff this week. Lots of videos but not much to play. Of course the Patapon demo for the PSP looks great though. The Playstation Store for the PC stuff is at the bottom of the post.

The highly anticipated God of War release for the PSP is finished. Ready at Dawn has announced that the game has gone gold and is ready to go. Look for it in your local game store on March 4th for the reasonable price of $39.99.
