Become a Rock Band Drumming Pro

If you own Rock Band, you may have found that the drums can be a little difficult once you play the harder songs or on higher difficulties. If you really want to become the Rock Band drumming professional you’ve always dreamed of becoming, you should check out this Rock Band Drumming Guide from Wired. Tons of great tips that I’ll be putting to use right away.

20 and 60 GB PS3 Models Discontinued in Japan

Sony has decided to cease the production of both the 20 GB and 60 GB models of the Playstation 3 in Japan, following the final shipment in January. They plan to push the focus onto the 40GB model. Since the 40 GB model is missing a few features that the higher-spec models had, production costs will be lower and should allow Sony to finally make a little profit.

LittleBigPlanet Coming in September

A Sony representative has confirmed that LittleBigPlanet finally has a release date of sometime in September. I sure wish it could have been sooner than that, but I guess it takes a long time to make a great game.

New Folklore Stuff Coming

New Folklore Content

On Thursday, you can expect to see some new content on the Playstation Store for Folkore. There will be two new downloadable add-on packs, “The Alchemist Pack” and “The Origin of Belgae.” The first pack will contain a new Folk and new faery-inspired costume for Ellen. The second will also contain a new Folk and will let you venture back into the Netherworld four more times. You can buy both in a bundle for $5.99 or separately for $3.99 a piece.

CES ’08 LittleBigPlanet Demonstration

As always, CES brings lots of great news and nerdy techy stuff, which I love. I sure wish I was there. Here’s some video showing off some new features of LittleBigPlanet. The video also mentions news of a public beta coming for the game as well. I can’t wait to play this.

Burnout Paradise Demo Going Multiplayer

Burnout Paradise Screen

You’ve likely already played the demo for Burnout Paradise and if you are a fan of the game, you’re in for a surprise. Criterion is actually going to support multiplayer on the demo on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 from January 4th to January 14th. You will be able to play with up to eight players in an online session. They are also providing 13 new “Freeburn” challenges. That should hold you over until the release on January 22nd.
