Why do you always end up at the Temple of Such and Such in the God of War games? Find out in the latest bash from Yahtzee.
Of course Old Grandma Hardcore bought Grand Theft Auto IV. This is a game that I think fits her perfectly; violent, loud, and full of profanity. I can’t wait to here her review of the game. I hope she likes it, because I sure as hell do. The new braking system is still a bit tough though. There, my only gripe.
It seems that Jack Thompson really likes video games, he just pretends he doesn’t to get publicity. I think he targets companies who create violent video games because he knows that they make the big bucks and it’s his chance to try to rake some of that in.
Anyway, GamePolitics.com received this photo from Jack Thompson himself with the subject line of “evidence.” I’m betting that the game in his hands were purchased by an underage kid. I hope that’s really not the case though. So much of this crap could be taken away if store employees were strict in not selling games to minors.
It seems that a few Playstation 3 owners have been reporting problems of the game repeatedly freezing on them. Some have even tried reinstalling the game several times with no luck although this fix has been working for some. According to many reports, it seems to be happening mainly on the 60GB models. So if you have this problem, your best option right now is to delete all data related to the game, including game saves, and try reinstalling. Luckily I haven’t had any problems yet. I have a 60GB PS3 too.
With all of the GTAIV hoopla, you may have forgotten that there is some downloadable content for Rock Band for your Xbox 360 today. Expect the same on Thursday for the PS3. Here’s the tracks:
- The Mother Hips “Time Sick Son of a Grizzly Bear”
- The Mother Hips “Red Tandy”
- Smashing Pumpkins “Zero”
If you plan on purchasing Grand Theft Auto IV or already have on the Xbox 360, you’ll be pleased to know that the game comes with a full free month of the Xbox Live service. Looks like Microsoft is giving all kinds of incentives to buy their version of the game.
It kind of sucks when you buy a game such as the WiiFit, and the peripheral that comes with the game works only with that one game. In the case of the WiiFit balance board though, this isn’t the case. Via a teaser trailer for Rayman Raving Rabbids, it looks like the game will offer some kind of use of the device. Check out the video.
